Axel Hotel Bilbao is born on the banks of the estuary, next to an old flour factory. Inspired by the Guggenheim and the artistic energy of the city, this hotel is a meeting place and creative hub for the LGBTQIA community.

That is the leitmotif of a building with a strong industrial character and nods to Frank Gehry all over the place, materials gleaming in copper and undulating metal structures. On the rooftop, we have a solarium and a bar with bricks in reddish and pink tones, from which you can see the whole of the old town, including the estuary. Honey, we know we're in Bilbao! That's why the pool has a retractable cover, which unfolds when it's cold.

If you come to Bilbao, you will have to eat to your heart's content! Next to the reception you'll find a cool restaurant that is a true testament to the city itself. On one side, huge windows overlooking the estuary. On the other side, a large copper mesh through which you can see everything that goes on in the wellness area.
